$139 per night - newly renovated rooms w/ King or two Queen beds. Add $20 for additional adult, maximum 4 persons. Ask for an ocean-view room. Guests are responsible for making their room reservations and are responsible for room, tax and incidental charges. Guest should refer to the IASPM-UCSD Music Group to access the group rates. Reservations can be made by calling the hotel at 858-459-0261 or by emailing reservations@hotellajolla.com. Any rooms that have not been reserved by Friday, May 1st, 2009 will be released back into inventory and sold at normal hotel rates. Any reservations made for pre/post group dates will be honored if announced at the time the reservation is made.

The Hotel La Jolla has agreed to shuttle all guests to UCSD for the daily conference activities and they run a regular shuttle service to the University from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Directions from San Diego Airport: Follow signs to 5 North. Go 9 miles to Exit 26A La Jolla Parkway. Go east about 2 miles. Hotel is at the intersection with Torrey Pines Rd. 7955 La Jolla Shores Dr, La Jolla, CA 92037.

Guests at the Del Mar Inn will need to provide their own transportation (rental car or public bus) to UCSD for the conference.

Please Note

The Hotel La Jolla will serve as the main conference hotel. It is closer to campus and will provide shuttling to all of the activities on campus. Their regular shuttle also take guests into downtown La Jolla, a very upscale shopping/dining district. The Del Mar Inn is a cheaper alternative for folks who plan to rent cars or take public buses. Transportation to campus is not provided. The Del Mar Inn is a 4 or 5 block walk to "downtown" Del Mar, a smaller but equally upscale area. Both hotels offer complimentary parking onsite.
